How a logo gets made here

It starts with a brief you write down: what the business does, who buys from it, and the names and marks you like and the ones you do not. It also lists where the logo has to work, such as a ute door, a business card, a favicon or a sign on a shed. From that our designers draw three initial directions. You pick one, and for the next thirty days we change it as often as it takes.

What you receive is the artwork in every form a supplier asks for. That means vector files for print and signage, transparent PNGs at large sizes for web and social, and a mono version for embroidery and single colour print. The colour values are written down so a printer and a sign writer in Townsville produce the same brand.

Beyond the mark

A logo on its own is not a brand. The same brief carries into business cards, letterhead, an email signature, social media tiles for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and the signage files for a shopfront or a vehicle. Where the business already has a logo it is used as drawn: we never recolour or redraw a client's mark, and a website or a campaign is designed around it.

What it costs

Brand work is quoted from the brief, because a mark for a sole trader and an identity for a business with three shopfronts and a fleet are different jobs. You get a fixed price in writing before anything is drawn.

Tested where it will live

Each direction is shown on a shopfront, a vehicle, a shirt, a business card and a social profile before you choose. A mark that looks sharp on a screen can turn to mush when embroidered or printed small, and that shows up at this stage.

The final files suit every supplier: a sign writer, a printer, an embroiderer and a web developer each get the format they need.

Working with what you have

Some businesses need a new logo. Others need their existing one redrawn cleanly, with proper colours and files. We look at what you have first and suggest the smaller job if that is all it needs.

From brief to files

It starts with a written brief: what the business does, who it sells to, what it should feel like and what to avoid. Three initial directions come from that brief, then unlimited changes over thirty days until the chosen one is right.

You receive the logo in colour, black and white and reversed, in print and web formats, with a one page guide to the colours and fonts.

Where a Townsville brand gets used

A logo here ends up on a ute door, a hi-vis shirt, a sign in hard sun and a Facebook profile picture the size of a thumbnail. We test each direction at those sizes before you choose, so the one you pick works everywhere it has to.

What files do I receive?

Vector for print and signage, transparent PNG for web and social, a mono version, and the colour values written down.

Can you work with my existing logo?

Yes, and we use it exactly as drawn. If the artwork needs work we will tell you, and redraw it when you ask.

Do you design the signage for the new brand?

Yes. Signage, vehicle wraps and print can be designed and produced by us, so the brand is applied the same way everywhere.

Do I own the logo?

Yes. Once the work is paid, the logo and every file are yours.

Can you design stationery and templates too?

Yes. Business cards, letterheads, email signatures and document templates can be designed with the logo so everything matches.
