AI visibility
Which AI assistants name your business?
When someone in Townsville asks an assistant for a recommendation, it names a handful of businesses and ignores the rest. The audit asks the questions your customers ask, in every major engine, and shows you who gets named.

What monthly SEO covers
A well built site picks up traffic on its own. A well built site with someone working on it every month picks up considerably more. Monthly SEO is that second thing. It covers research into what your market types, new pages and articles written to target it, and the authority work that puts a local business above the national suppliers on the same search. You get a report each month on where you sit.
It is continuing work, not a one-off, which is why it is quoted separately from a website build. Every site we build already carries the foundations: page titles and descriptions, structured data on every page, answer-first opening paragraphs, FAQ sections with schema, and internal links written with the place name in them.
Why AI search is part of the same job
A growing share of your customers no longer search. They ask. Ahrefs found 28.3% of the pages ChatGPT cites most have no organic Google visibility at all. SOCi found a 45% overlap between the businesses winning the map pack and the businesses appearing in AI answers. The work that earns a search ranking and the work that earns a mention in an answer overlap heavily, so we sell them as one service and report them on one page.
A standard SEO audit misses the first AI problem entirely. Some hosts and CDNs sever the connection to AI agents at the server, silently, with nothing in robots.txt to show for it. We have found exactly this on live client sites, and it is the first thing we test.
How the engine sweep is run
Thirty to forty prompts are written for your business and your market across six intent tiers: branded, category, problem-first, comparison, transactional and objection. Each prompt runs in Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT with search, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Microsoft Copilot, plus a de-personalised Google and Bing baseline. Every prompt runs three times in separate incognito sessions, because engines are non-deterministic and we report how often you appeared, not whether you appeared once.
For every prompt we record whether you were named, whether you were cited with a link and to which page, who was named instead, what the engine said, and whether that is correct. Being described with a service you dropped, an old phone number or the wrong suburb is worse than being absent.
What the report looks like
Positions per keyword compared across dates, with an explanation of why each one moved. A branded search section, because people who have heard of you search for you by name. An AI section with the sweep results and a scorecard per engine, so the same test can be run again next quarter. And one recommended next action.
Broad searches and narrow ones
The broad searches, a trade with Townsville on the end, are the most contested and take the longest to win. The narrow ones, a specific job in a specific suburb, are searched a handful of times a month each. They are easier to win and more likely to end in a phone call.
Keyword research sorts your searches into those two groups. The first months usually go on narrow terms that can be won early, while the pages for the broad terms build authority behind them.
Why a local business can outrank national ones
National directories and franchise sites cover Townsville from a distance. A local business with a page for each service, real photos, a complete Business Profile and mentions from other Townsville sites often sits above them for local searches.
Authority work is where those mentions come from: local directories, associations, suppliers and community sites that already link to businesses in the city.
What we need from you
Access to the website, Google Search Console and your Business Profile. A list of the jobs you most want more of. Answers when we send you a question about your work, because a page written from your facts reads better than one written from guesses.
Pages written for real questions
Each new page or article answers a question people in Townsville actually search, and it answers in the first paragraph. The rest of the page gives the detail: prices where you publish them, the areas you cover, photos and the next step.
Answer-first pages are the ones Google shows as featured answers and the ones AI assistants quote, so one piece of writing serves both.
Technical checks every month
A site can drop out of search for reasons nobody sees on the page: a blocked crawler, a broken redirect, a plugin update that removed the titles. Each month we check the site can be reached and read by Googlebot and the AI crawlers, and fix what has changed.
The monthly report
One page each month: where you appear for the searches that matter, how branded searches are trending, which AI assistants named you, what we did and what comes next. It is written for an owner, in plain language.
Townsville
SEO in Townsville
People search the same job in different ways. A service with Townsville on the end, with their suburb, or with Thuringowa, Kirwan or Magnetic Island in it. Keyword research shows which of those your customers type and how often, and the pages are written to match.
The same work answers the AI assistants. When someone asks ChatGPT or Google for a business in Townsville, the answer is built from pages, profiles and reviews it can read. We check each month whether you are named and what is said about you.

Questions
SEO Services Townsville: common questions
What is a search and AI visibility audit?
A one-off check of how Google and the main AI assistants see your business. It covers whether they can reach and read your site, how clearly your pages answer questions, whether you are named for the searches that matter, and who is named instead. You get a written report, a scorecard per engine and a ranked fix list.
How much is the audit?
$350 + GST, one-off, credited in full against any work booked within 60 days. The report arrives in five to seven business days.
Which AI engines do you check?
ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode.
How do I get my business recommended by ChatGPT?
Assistants name businesses they can read clearly and find mentioned elsewhere. That means crawlers can reach your site, each service has a page that answers the question in its first paragraph, and your details match everywhere. Steady reviews and mentions on other sites matter too, and the audit shows which of those you are missing.
How do I show up in Google AI Overviews?
Google has said there is no special markup for AI Overviews. The pages it quotes are ones that already rank and answer a question plainly. Strong SEO, clear answers and a complete Business Profile are the route in.
Is SEO included in a website build?
The foundations are: titles, structured data, answer-first paragraphs, FAQ schema and geo-qualified internal links on every page. The ongoing work of research, new content, authority and AI tracking is a separate monthly service.
Are SEO and AI search two services?
No. They are quoted and reported as one, because the work overlaps: the structure that helps a page rank is the structure an assistant can quote from. The sweep across the AI engines is part of every month.
When should I start?
Once the site is live and has something to rank with: genuine reviews, photos of your own jobs on the page and a few months of data. The visibility audit shows how ready your site is and what to fix first.
Why run each AI prompt three times?
Because the engines are non-deterministic. Three runs in separate incognito sessions lets us report how often you appeared rather than a one-off result.
Should I have a page for every suburb I cover?
Only where there is real demand and something true to say about that suburb. Copies of one page with the suburb swapped do not rank and can drag the rest of the site down.
